Yarn along

Joining in with Ginny at small things

About halfway thru burial rites by Hannah Kent. Took me a chapter or two to get into it. It’s a sad and grey story but very well written. I think I found a connection to the main character when I learned she had been a foster child (being a foster parent) and now I’m reading it every chance I get.

The knitting is easy-peasy squares blanket by kelly mccraw. Free on ravelry. This blanket is for our first grandchild due this fall. Squeeeee!!! Just a tad excited!

Sorry for the lack of links. I’ve been blogging from my phone and putting them in is an excruciating ordeal I haven’t figured out yet.
